Junsaku Koizumi Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Junsaku was both a painter and printmaker whose artwork included more than thirty intaglio and woodblock prints of flowers and (or) birds. Ten examples are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Junsaku typically drew his flower and bird subjects accurately but in some pictures he simplified their shapes and (or) colors.
